Nutella Hazlenut Spread=YUMNESS!

I was so excited to be asked by MommyParties to host a Nutella party! And my co-workers were even more pleased about it! If you have not tried Nutella you need to go grab a jar from the store NOW! It has an almost chocolatey peanut buttery taste to it! It is made with hazlenuts and tastes just divine in anyway you can think of!

My fave thing to make with it so far are banana rollups...I slice a banana and lay it in a flour tortilla that I have spread with Nutella, roll it up and it is the perfect on the go breakfast!

My co-workers loved their Nutella Swag Bags that had really nice travel mugs and of course a sample of nutella in them! They also had recipe cards and a nutella spreader!

What I thought was really neat is that none of my co-workers had tried nutella before! So not only did I get to surprise them with free goodies they also got to try something delicious that they have never experienced before!

Thank you so much to both Mommyparties and Nutella for letting me share the delightful joy that is

Make Your Own Chocolate Kit (or gum or gummies!) Review/Giveaway

Have you heard about the company Glee Gum yet? This company has some amazing fun and natural candy making kits for you and your family! We were lucky to be able to try out the chocolate making kit and me and Gabby( my 8 year old daughter) had a lot of fun!
Getting out the ingredients and reading the directions

making sure the cocoa butter has melted enough before adding vanilla and cocoa powder and sugar

the fun part! Choosing what we wanted in our chocolates! My daughter was going a bit wacky going through the cupboards wanting to put in cotton candy and other things haha....we settled on some almonds, m&m's, and some plain chocolates :)

mixing in the magic crystals!

couldn't resist trying it ;)

MMMMMMM!

the finished products!

Now  my husband is a bit of a chocolate snob being from England and all and he claimed this was some of the best chocolate he has yet to have in America! Now that is saying A LOT! He devoured almost all of them him self besides the few Gabby and I managed to snag for ourselves! They were very fudgy and delish!

What is great is that like I said these are all natural kits! No worrying chemicals or preservatives! A little more about the kits from the Glee Gum folks:
Available in Make Your Own Chocolate, Make Your Own Chewing Gum, and Make Your Own Gummies, these activity kits are all-natural, educational, and eco-friendly. With pre-packaged ingredients and easy-to-follow instructions, everyone aged 8 and up gets a real kick out of making candy from scratch. Neatnik Saucer Review/Giveaway!

This product is a mama's dream! Especially so for those of us who are doing the baby led weaning approach and/or moms that are concerned about keeping floor and highchair area as tidy as possible! This innovative product was made by a mother who not only had concerns about keeping the floor clean when her little one dined but also about having her baby surrounded by a clean surface!

The neatnik saucer combines a highchair cover and I what I like to call a table bib into one! Not only does the baby sit inside of this protective saucer but there is also little loops to attach toys or pacifiers! And there is a raised edge all the way around so no worries about stuff just sliding off onto the floor or table!

We went to Olive Garden recently and the neatnik saucer worked like a charm! I was sad that I had remembered my camera but ditzy me had left the battery to my camera at home in the charger! Good thing for cell phone cameras!
The waitress commented on the neatnik saucer straight away saying how she had "never seen one of those before, how neat!" We also got many good stares from other mothers around us whose babies didn't have their magical spaceships (another name we have taken to calling it heehee!) for their children to sit in.

Our only complaint about the neatnik saucer is the fact that some places tables are a bit high! So a lot of the food slid down the saucer and into Lainey's lap. No problem though as I just tucked one of the cloth napkins provided into her lap and she happily ate.
I am sure the wait staff were also happy that the  saucer kept any rogue pieces of broccoli from sliding onto the floor as well!

The neatnik saucer comes in several cute prints and we were lucky enough to score one in the Chicago print (black and white checkered) to try out with Miss Lainey! If you would like your very own Neatnik Saucer you can Buy One Here! or try to WIN One by doing the following!!!

Please leave a comment for each thing you do!

1. Mandatory Entry Follow this blog and say that you do!
2. Follow me on Twitter

Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion Review and Giveaway! EXTENDED!

I was selected to do a review on Skin MD Natural Shielding face and body lotion, this could not have come at a better time! My husband and I both struggle with awful, itchy, dry skin especially in the winter months! We are always trying out new lotions and creams trying to find the best ones that are most effective to get rid of those winter itchies! Enter Skin MD Natural Shielding lotion!

This lotion goes on sooooo light which would make you think it would not be very effective, but boy is that NOT true! This stuff works like a dream and if you pair it with a good dead skin removal method (I am a ped-egg fan myself!) you will have smooth silky heels in no time! Also a good thing to remember is a little goes a LONG way! I made the mistake of

My husband suffers from winter excema and gets the classic rasied itchy dry bumps on his arms and legs in the winter and he even started using the Skin MD....the words straight out of his mouth to me one morning as I looked to apply some..."Get your own bottle!" Yup there it is; totally, completely husband approved in our household!

Additional information from the kind people at Skin MD:
Skin MD Natural is the lotion that goes on easily, absorbs fast and has no greasy feel at all. It's unique formulation and natural ingredients makes this shielding lotion far superior to any convention skin cream. Feel as soft a silk with Skin MD Natural, that's the "wow" factor when you try it. You feel the results but you don't feel the lotion. However, behind the softness that you feel, a shielding lotion does the real
work to prevent dry skin in two ways.

First, it assists the inner layers of skin to absorb moisture. The humectant (an ingredient that attracts moisture) used in Skin MD Natural is unique to
it and has been laboratory tested to be 6 times more effective than any other you will find in common creams.

Second, a shielding lotion enhances the power of the top layer of the skin
to resist environmental irritants while protecting the inner natural
moisture. This can be a big benefit for those who cook, wash dishes and garden because
Skin MD Natural helps skin retain its natural moisture and oils in the face of all those irritating soaps and chemicals.

Skin MD Natural is also an eco friendly skin care option. Our product is
made in the US using solar power energy. Our lotion is never tested on
animals and contains no animal ingredients making it both vegan and cruelty free!

Baby Bond Nursing Cover Review and Mega Deal!

I am one of those moms who is a bit reluctant to nurse in public. I of course will do it when Lainey is hungry as I wouldn't dare not feed my child when she is in need but I am a bit uncomfortable 95% of the time nursing in public....now the thing is I am not concerned of people seeing my breasts but instead I am super self conscious of others seeing my side flab and stretch marks hanging out while I am nursing!

Enter Baby Bond nursing cover to save the day! This great breastfeeding accessory covers you and not your baby! I chose the couture model as it can function for both shirt styles that open from the top or for those that you have to lift from the bottom (majority of mine!) which tends to leave a whole lot more of your body exposed!

I will say Baby Bond is one of those products that is so simple to use that you tend to over think and may get very confused trying to use it the first time....at least I did haha! I read and re-read directions finally realizing it was SO beyond easy to use i had to laugh! I chose to wear it around my waist so I could nurse Lainey at the annual trip at the pumpkin patch. All you do is wrap it around and pull it through the little loop to adjust to your size, lift shirt up and pull up on fabric a bit to cover desired amount of your side that may be exposed.

I will say I almost wished it had a snap feature though so that it would stay adjusted once I had it where I wanted it to be as it did tend to loosen and start sagging a bit through the nursing session. Maybe an upgrade they will offer at a later time! All in all I LOVE my baby bond and plan to keep it in the diaper bag from now on for any public nursing sessions! No more fear of my stretch marks or flab being shown to the world HOORAY!!!!

Thank  you so much BabyBond for this wonderful product that doesn't involve covering Miss Lainey up (only for her to think we are playing peekaboo!).

BabyBond is offering a 75% discount on their site for any reader who orders a BabyBond on babiesrus.com. Now you will be able to buy 2 BabyBonds for less than $46!!!  All you need to do is email a copy of your receipt from Babies R Us to missy@babybondnursing.com, and she will reply with a 75% off discount code to order another BabyBond on their site with 75% off.

Just CLICK HERE to find Babybonds! Would make a great baby shower gift as well!

Review: Freschetta Roasted Garlic and Spinach Flatbread Pizza

Oh my heck this is GOOD frozen pizza! I bought this on a whim a couple weeks ago because I happened to have a coupon and it was on sale as well (SCORE). This instantly became a fave for me and my hubby! It is so light but so flavorful, and goes great with a salad! The only downside is the price (normally $5.99 without a coupon at our stores) and the fact that we can easily split one pizza amongst the two of us cause it is so light and sooo good! Good news though is Freschetta is great about having coupons so keep your eyes peeled for a deal and try this pizza! Make sure to let me know what you think!

This review was done solely on my own opinion and love for this pizza!

Picky Sticky (Etsy) Review

How could you not love seeing growth progression pictures? Whether it be a woman blossoming in pregnancy or the growth of your newborn baby PickySticky has the perfect embellishment to help you document these milestones! Missy sells month by month stickers that you can stick on any shirt or onesie to help document the specific milestone. Yes they are a one time use thing BUT... I have been keeping each sticker to then incorporate into a scrapbook I will do up featuring the pictures taken with Lainey wearing her monthly pickysticky stickers :)
(I cannot wait to see all 12 in a row at the end of Lainey's first year!)

I had to have these for my new little girl and I have to say I get sooo many compliments on them via facebook and family and my various mommy message boards I post pictures on about how cute they are. I couldn't agree more! I only wish I had known about PickySticky sooner so that I could have documented my pregnancy in the same way!

PickySticky offers several different styles that will surely suit your purpose perfectly! Check out PickySticky today!

Phunklab (Etsy) Custom Art Review

Are you looking for the prefect gift? How about a very unique personalized piece of art? Phunklab is the perfect choice! I had a hard time deciding on the perfect wedding gift for my husband and as soon as I saw Fleur's amazing work on etsy I knew THAT was what I HAD to get for my soon to be husband. Not only would it be personalized and unique but it also would serve as a truly amazing piece of art in our bedroom.

Fleur takes a photograph you send her (it can even be made from more than one photo!) and turns them into these wonderful canvas creations! I sent her two different photographs since I liked myself in one and my husband to be better in another.

I also asked if she could please make my hair a bit longer than what it was in the original photograph as I didn't quite like how it was hanging in the photo(thank you photoshop and Fleur). She then merged my soon to be husband and myself into one fantastic piece of art that included songs of meaning to US as the background!
And here was the proof she sent me

Fleur added a unique touch by having a shadowed box around a key lyric "And I will love you til the end of time" that happened to sit right beneath the two of us in the center making it all come together!

The art is printed onto canvas of your size choosing and came shipped to me in America with no harm done! I brought it to my local Hobby Lobby store and had it custom framed with museum glass over top to protect and showcase this treasure.

Fleur was a joy to work with and I never hesitate to share her store with others in person and online!

Thanks Fleur my husband and I have now been married almost 2 years and your gorgous art stares at us in bed every night :)
