Make Your Own Chocolate Kit (or gum or gummies!) Review/Giveaway

Have you heard about the company Glee Gum yet? This company has some amazing fun and natural candy making kits for you and your family! We were lucky to be able to try out the chocolate making kit and me and Gabby( my 8 year old daughter) had a lot of fun!
Getting out the ingredients and reading the directions
making sure the cocoa butter has melted enough before adding vanilla and cocoa powder and sugar
the fun part! Choosing what we wanted in our chocolates! My daughter was going a bit wacky going through the cupboards wanting to put in cotton candy and other things haha....we settled on some almonds, m&m's, and some plain chocolates :)
mixing in the magic crystals!
couldn't resist trying it ;)
MMMMMMM!
the finished products!
Now my husband is a bit of a chocolate snob being from England and all and he claimed this was some of the best chocolate he has yet to have in America! Now that is saying A LOT! He devoured almost all of them him self besides the few Gabby and I managed to snag for ourselves! They were very fudgy and delish!
What is great is that like I said these are all natural kits! No worrying chemicals or preservatives! A little more about the kits from the Glee Gum folks:
Available in Make Your Own Chocolate, Make Your Own Chewing Gum, and Make Your Own Gummies, these activity kits are all-natural, educational, and eco-friendly. With pre-packaged ingredients and easy-to-follow instructions, everyone aged 8 and up gets a real kick out of making candy from scratch. Focusing on the history behind and the origin of these candies, each kit is designed to captivate your interest, connect you to the global community, and create something yummy to eat in the process!
The Glee Gum folks have been kind enough to also offer up a kit of your choosing to a lucky winner

Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion Review and Giveaway! EXTENDED!
This lotion goes on sooooo light which would make you think it would not be very effective, but boy is that NOT true! This stuff works like a dream and if you pair it with a good dead skin removal method (I am a ped-egg fan myself!) you will have smooth silky heels in no time! Also a good thing to remember is a little goes a LONG way! I made the mistake of
My husband suffers from winter excema and gets the classic rasied itchy dry bumps on his arms and legs in the winter and he even started using the Skin MD....the words straight out of his mouth to me one morning as I looked to apply some..."Get your own bottle!" Yup there it is; totally, completely husband approved in our household!
Additional information from the kind people at Skin MD:
Skin MD Natural is the lotion that goes on easily, absorbs fast and has no greasy feel at all. It's unique formulation and natural ingredients makes this shielding lotion far superior to any convention skin cream. Feel as soft a silk with Skin MD Natural, that's the "wow" factor when you try it. You feel the results but you don't feel the lotion. However, behind the softness that you feel, a shielding lotion does the real
work to prevent dry skin in two ways.
First, it assists the inner layers of skin to absorb moisture. The humectant (an ingredient that attracts moisture) used in Skin MD Natural is unique to
it and has been laboratory tested to be 6 times more effective than any other you will find in common creams.
Second, a shielding lotion enhances the power of the top layer of the skin
to resist environmental irritants while protecting the inner natural
moisture. This can be a big benefit for those who cook, wash dishes and garden because
Skin MD Natural helps skin retain its natural moisture and oils in the face of all those irritating soaps and chemicals.
Skin MD Natural is also an eco friendly skin care option. Our product is
made in the US using solar power energy. Our lotion is never tested on
animals and contains no animal ingredients making it both vegan and cruelty free!

Pottery Heaven (Etsy) Giveaway & Review

I was lucky enough to be contacted by Martina from Pottery Heaven over on etsy to do a review of her work and shop. Martina sent me two gorgeous ring/jewelry holders (one for review purposes and one for a lucky winner!). I love the classic yet modern look these cute little ring holders have and my husband was happy for me to have a little nook for my earrings I take off each night (he isn't too pleased when I put in their usual place tossed by the sink!).
I asked Martina a few questions so you all could get to know her a bit and here is what she had to say...
How did you get into pottery?
I took pottery as a gen-ed in college. I was horrible on the wheel, but incredibly stubborn. I spent all of my extra time in the studio - took the next class (only 2 were offered) and just kept working at it until I got better.
What is your favorite piece you have ever done?
Hmm that is hard - My favorites change (I usually make a new favorite). Currently, I think the form I have the most fun making are my citrus juicers. I just started making them and was so excited when everything came together - It's great to have an attractive piece, but even better when it serves a purpose and is technically sound.
Do you do custom pieces?
Yes - Anything and everything:) I love doing custom orders. I'm always up for a challenge.
To BUY: Check Pottery Heaven today for yourself and also for the upcoming Christmas season!
To Win: Pottery Heaven sent me a gorgeous ring holder(rings and earrings not included) for one lucky winner(Residents of the U.S. only)!

My 1st Giveaway! The Teabagz Lady (etsy) Hair accessories
I am so excited to be bringing you my very first giveaway! I am ever so grateful to Meeling from The TeaBagz Lady on etsy for giving me this wonderful chance to not only shine a little spotlight on her home business but also to give not one but 3 of my followers a chance to win an adorable hair accessory featuring vintage fabrics.
Meeling features a great mix of products all hand made with love inspired by the vintage fabrics she uses on the item.
TeaBagz were born after Meeling found herself drawn to using vintage tea towels to help embellish hand made purses and bags! She has then ventured out and uses the unique fabrics on everything from hair accessories to bags to baby onesies! The onesies really caught my eye being a mom to an infant and Meeling was gracious enough to send me a custom one for my little Lainey!
This onesie was simply adorable! Not only did I “ooh” and “ahh” over it but so did my husband and older daughter! Both exclaimed how cute and unique it was. The owl appliqué was crafted using a vintage handkerchief and was then sewed on. She then added these vintage flower buttons for eyes! I cannot say how sad I will be when my little one (or not so little one hee hee) grows out of this onesie! I will definitely be hanging onto it as a keepsake to pass down.
Another onesie that also caught my eye on The TeaBagz Lady was this pear one, sooo cute! Also if you see a onesie you love or have an idea for one you would like made just send Meeling a message via etsy and she would be more than happy to accomodate you! Designs she can always duplicate but the fabrics may be different due to them being vintage and her not having enough to do more than one or two etc... Prices range 12-15 for a very unique onesie!
Please go check out TeaBagz today for a great one of a kind item for all ages!
For a chance to Win 1 of 3 Teabagz hair accessories: Mandatory entry go visit The Teabagz Lady and come comment me back telling me what your favorite item is!
