Oh it is Coming....do you Feel it?

Oh yes I am in mega creative mood thanks to http://coffee-girl-crafts.blogspot.com/ This girl has me so inspired to whip out some mini books! I have several of the kits she has and I MUST complete them!

Got ideas a swirling about in my nugget and it feels good!

On a down note I am back to sitting around doing nothing at work supposedly today.....arghhhh! It drives me absolutely mad I tell ya! I mean it is one thing to entertain myself for 8 hours but then add on top of that the fact I have to entertain 8 to 12 special needs adults for 7 of those hours!

Roll on Friday when I can sit down with some cans of Labatts and my craftsy shits!

Feelings of Creativity

So the urge is awakening within me to start scrapping again or creating something at least...I started a couple "inspiration boards" in the flat. One in the hall and one in the bedroom I can tack up random stuff to help get me "in the mood".

Only thing preventing me from sitting down with supplies tonight is one too many cans of Labatt's and supreme sleepiness from going out last night and not sleeping well. I am too old to stay out past midnight haha!

Tomorrow is my Bear's Birthday..... :( I just so wish I was there with him celebrating......

Spring is FINALLY in the Air

Took Gabby to the park today and it was so dang lovely out! But what do I do? I get depressed because Gareth is not here enjoying it with us. I know I need to live for the moment, especially the moments with my 5 almost 6 year old daughter...but damn it is freaking hard when you feel such a huge part of your heart is missing!

Actually got some stuff done today but still never as much as truly needed due to me napping and being lazy :P

Sat on the balcony a bit with Gabby too around 5 pm and again marveled at how sudden it seems the weather has shifted here in Michigan. I am SO happy it is spring and Gabby and I are both looking forward to the trees having leaves on them again! One thing that makes me smile is looking down into the little courtyard there is a bed of daffodils....right now only one has managed to pop out and say hello. It looks so cute right in the middle the only yellow head brave enough to come out in this crazy Michigan spring weather we have had. Need to try and snap a pic tomorrow morning before it's friends finally join it!

Gareth and I are approaching the 100 day mark since we applied for his fiance' visa....gosh I really do not want to make it to 100 days! I want our approval NOW NOW NOWWWWW! I just am praying and hoping and wishing and having fingers crossed etc...that we hear something SOON and can move onto next steps of planning our life together!

Oh bought a couple books today one being "The Cheapest Family in America" hoping to gain some tips and insight into becoming debt free someday and still own a house etc....hahaha...wish me luck with that (yes and I did just order Wii Fit and Mario Cart for Wii as well this week....oopsie!). But hey bought the book so that is a step in the right direction right? Or not since I spent money on the book?????

Hit me Baby one more time?!

OK so yesterday I hit myself a total of 3 times...I am not talking just little bumps here but outright wanting to yell out (well I did yell out the last time) at the world bumps!

1. First thing in the morning bending over to get something off the floor...stand up and WHAM head into doorknob! #$%^&!!!
2. Walking into break room at work and WHAM where did that table come from that has always been there? Right into the corner of it my thigh did hit @#*&$!!!!
3. Last thing of the night getting pillows out of daughters room from lower part of her loft bed...WHAM there goes a different part of my head into the wood above me! $#@&!!

Not sure if I was just clumsy as all heck yesterday or I can just chalk it up to a bad day overall but man oh man puh-leaseeeee no bumps or bruises today!!!

Inspire me, Energize me, Entertain me!

This week at work and last week for that matter have been EXHAUSTING.....ever get what you asked for? Well I certainly did! I work at a workshop but it is for mentally and physically challenged adults....well the group I was leading was getting no work or very little work....so I take on another group for what I *thought* was a temporary thing. My current job now.....checking 3,000 to 6,000 springs a DAY! It is soooo tiring and mind numbing I cannot stand it! I am happy to have work and even happier yet to have a full time job in Michigan at the moment but man oh man I am just sooo freaking tired by the end of the day. Then to come home and have to clean and entertain my little one etc...well yeah I am beat!

I cannot express enough how much I want Gareth here as I know he is going to be such a tremendous help to me and Gabby both! Yes I miss his love and cuddles but man oh man right now I would do anything for someone to help out with some of the tidying around the flat haha!

For those that do not know we applied for a fiance' visa in January....we have now been waiting over 85 days for the approval so we can get on with the next steps. It is such a hard thing all this waiting. Mostly because we thought we were going to see one another this past December :(

We are in it for the long haul though and we both know it will be worth it in the end when we are finally together!
